Sanjay Dutt To Be A Part Of 'Munna Bhai', State Rajkumar Hirani And Vidhu Vinod Chopra

There has been much speculation over Sanjay Dutt's inclusion in the third film of the 'Munna Bhai' franchise. There have been rumours that Dutt maybe dropped from the film, owing to his jail sentence. However, in an official statement, filmmakers Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani have stated that the 'reel' Munna Bhai will wait for the 'real' Munna Bhai and that he will walk on the sets of the next film as he comes back to them free.
In the same statement, Sanjay Dutt has said that he is ready to go to prison as when he comes back, he will experience freedom in its true sense. Dutt added that when he walks out of prison, he wants to walk straight onto the sets of 'Munna Bhai'. Dutt has acted in 'Munna Bhai M.B.B.S' and 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai'.
