Mohit Suri: 'Aashiqui 2 collections prove that India has accepted me'

Mohit Suri's recently released musical 'Aashiqui 2' has received an overwhelming response from the audiences and the film has been declared a hit at the box-office. The Bhatts recently held a bash to celebrate the success of their film and at the party, Suri said that the collections at the box-office prove that the audiences have accepted him as a filmmaker.
"I wanted people to understand and like the voice that I had put in this film. And when these collections come it means that my voice has been accepted. I'll have hits, I'll have flops now, but I'll be making films forever because India has accepted me as a person,"said the director.
Sequel to the 1990 superhit film 'Aashiqui', 'Aashiqui 2' stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles.
