Shillong's Young Rap Crew: Symphonic Movement | Episode 8 | Hip Hop Homeland North East
  • 7 years ago
Using Hip Hop to keep kids away from drugs in the North East.

If anyone tells you hip hop is a bad influence on kids, tell them this story. Drug abuse amongst children and adolescents in the North East is a major societal problem. Praiselyson Lyngskor fell into the same rut himself, and used music as a means to get himself out of it. He hopes he can continue to do the same for the kids who form one of the North East's youngest rap crews: Symphonic Movement.

On his journey to create a rap anthem for the North East, Feyago's last stop was with a rap crew that he discovered on the show Meghalaya's Got Talent. Together with Symphonic Movement, Crptographik Street Poets, Khasi Bloodz and Stunnah Beatz, he's created an iconic track that represents the region like never before.
