Amitabh Bachchan: 'I have no interest in politics'

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who promotes Gujarat Tourism, recently was asked at a book launch event if he thinks Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi should be India's Prime Minister. When asked, the Big B initially quipped, "Is this written in the book that is to be launched?" However, when the journalist persisted, the veteran said, "I am not connected to politics in any way and I have no interest in politics. As such, I don't think I can comment anything about it. In fact, you media-people should know more about this as you people write about it and also meet so many people." Bachchan was last seen playing a Gandhian social activist in Prakash Jha's political drama 'Satyagraha'.
