The comments began after Trump tweeted on Thursday, “The so-called 'A' list celebrities are all wanting tixs to the inauguration, but look what they did for Hillary, NOTHING. I want the PEOPLE!”
Teigen responded by writing back, “Hi - we are people. You are our president too. I don't want you to be, but u are. Also we ALL know you are dying without the approval, dear.”
There have been reports that Trump’s team has been having a difficult time booking top talent for his inauguration.
Nevertheless, Teigen later clarified that she does not consider herself to be A-list, but rather, was referring to her husband, musician John Legend.
She also retweeted some of the critics who called her names.
And when one user called her husband illiterate, Teigen fired back by writing, “John went to the same University as the Donald, silly billy. Only difference was John went at the young age of 16.”
