Mark Zuckerberg finally admitted Facebook is a media company

One small step for Mark Zuckerberg, one big step for Facebook. Zukcerberg recently admitted that Facebook is indeed a media company and not just a technology platform. The truth came out in a recent interview he participated in with his COO, Sheryl Sandberg. Zuckerberg was quick to point out that it isn't a traditional media company because they don't write the news that appears on their site. In the past, Zuckerberg had been reluctant to call Facebook a media company but by admitting that it is one is the first step in broaching the responsibilities Facebook has when it comes to news distribution.
