Shah Rukh Khan: 'I have to get an endoscopy done, another month no action'

Shah Rukh Khan, who injured himself while shooting for his upcoming film Happy New Year, has stated that he has to undergo an endoscopy and only then will he know if he requires a surgery or not. At an event when Khan was asked about his health, he said, ''I have to undergo a check-up and get an endoscopy done. Inshallah won't have to undergo surgery, rest I will come to know after I get the endoscopy results.'' ''I'm ok now I just need to strengthen my muscles a little so I will have to start exercising but it's painful to exercise. Next one month, I will go easy on it and I'm back to shooting, another month no action and then I will start,'' he further added. Khan had fractured his shoulder and got a tear in his left knee's patella in the freak accident and his doctor was quoted saying that SRK may have to undergo a knee surgery.
