Karan Johar: 'Ranbir Kapoor is officially my favourite co-star'

Karan Johar, who will be making his full-fledged acting debut with Anurag Kashyap's much-anticipated film Bombay Velvet, says that the lead actor of the movie, Ranbir Kapoor is now officially his favourite co-star. KJo also added that Anurag is his favourite filmmaker, however he was also quick to add that he doesn't have any other choice but to pick the two as his favourites as Bombay Velvet is his first film. At the wrap-up party the filmmaker-turned-actor stated, "It was great to be directed by Anurag and as almost all my scenes were with Ranbir, so officially he is my favourite co-star and my favourite director is Anurag Kashyap. I don't have any other choice actually (laughs)." "Anurag never scolded me during the shoot and I hope he hasn't cut short my role, otherwise this will be my last Press conference for Bombay Velvet," he said in jest. Bombay Velvet also stars Anushka Sharma and is slated to release on November 28.
