Where Are The Infinity Gems Now? (2017 Edition)
This is an update of the previous "Where Are The Infinity Gems Now" video from December 2016.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has captured the imagination of both comic book fans and the general public with it's series of interconnected films. But one overarching storyline has been there from Phase One that the general public might not quite get, and some fans might even have questions about.
We take a look at the Infinity Stones in the MCU: where are they, what are they, and who has them.
The Avengers: Infinity War is where all of the movies are leading up to -- an ultimate battle between our heroes and Thanos, the Mad Titan, who will at some point gain possession of all six Infinity Stones.
We have seen five so far: The Tesseract, The Aether, The Mind Gem, The Power Gem and The Time Gem. There is one stone remaining in the MCU: the Soul Gem, and we speculate in this video as to where it might be.
We also discuss the Letter Theory of T.H.A.N.O.S. and the appearance of two Infinity Gauntlets so far in Marvel movies.
So where are they now, as of December 2016 leading into Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok? Who has them? When are we going to see the final gem? How is Thanos going to gain control of all of them?
We go back and look at where the current gems reside and look towards the lineup of Marvel films leading up to Avengers: Infinity War, and try to piece together what logically might make sense.
