Bizarre footage has emerged from China appearing to show a woman punishing her husband after she caught him "chatting" with other women.

The video, filmed in Zigong, Sichuan Province on December 8, shows the tied-up man, kneeling and kowtowing, carrying a sign reading: “Wife, I was wrong.”

The woman appears to be using a slipper to slap the man while asking him “will you chat with other women again in the future? Were you wrong?”
