Karan Johar: 'There can be only one Kareena Kapoor Khan'

Though there have been a lot of comparisons between Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, who we believe started it all, says that there can be only one Kareena and that it is unfair for people to compare Alia, who has just begun her Bollywood journey, with Bebo. Interestingly, Alia is playing a die-hard Kareena Kapoor fan in her upcoming film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and at the trailer launch of the movie, when Karan was asked to comment on comparisons between the two actresses, he said, ''There can be only one Kareena. Not only I am a huge fan of hers on celluloid but I also love her as a person. Kareena and I are extremely close and when other people or I make those comparisons it may be because both of them have an inherent sense of a certain natural energy, certain spark and spunk but they are very different actresses.'' ''Kareena has carved a tremendous niche for herself and I don't think she should be compared to anyone. It is unfair to compare Alia to somebody who has set the bar so high, she still has her journey ahead and I'm sure that eventually Alia will have an individualistic charm about herself .''
