Karan Johar's 'Shuddhi' Has Kareena Kapoor Khan And Salman Khan In The Lead

Karan Johar's Shuddhi is back in the news again. From Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan to Ranveer Singh, everyone has been in and out of Shuddhi. Even when it comes to the female lead, Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was the original choice for the role was to be replaced by Deepika. She in turn opted out due to her commitment to Bajirao Mastani with Ranveer Singh. Now, we hear that Karan Johar has given his status on Shuddhi, hopefully once and for all. According to sources, Shuddhi will release in 2015 and Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan will play the leading couple in the film. Things had gone sour between one-time close friends Kareena and Karan. She had blocked 200 days for the film which was then supposed to star Hrithik in the lead. But due to his brain surgery things got delayed indefinitely affecting her schedule. Her absence at his birthday party further fueled rumors that all is not well. However, things are finally fine between the two and we hope that the film will start rolling soon.
