Vir Das Wrote 'Pyar Hai Kutti Cheez' Post His Break-Up

Vir Das, who has crooned a song titled pyaar hai kutti cheez for his upcoming film Amit Sahni Ki List, has revealed that he wrote this song a few years ago for his band after a break-up. At a recent media interaction, Das said, ''I wrote this song some two years ago for my band, post a break-up. So this song is for all the heart-broken and jilted lovers. I wrote this song for myself some years ago. In the film there is a point where the hero, who suffers from vertigo, is planning to jump from a plane and the theme of the song is that when a man is really scared he forgets everything including love. This song was befitting for that situation and therefore we used it.'' Directed by Ajay Bhuyan, the film is slated to release on July 18.
