Aamir Khan's Parents Freaked Out When He Decided To Quit College to Pursue Acting

Actor-producer Aamir Khan, who is considered as Bollywood's Mr. Perfectionist because of his attention to detail while playing a role, recently revealed that his family members were not too happy about his plans to pursue a career in Bollywood. While at an event, Aamir said, ''I was in the 12th when I decided to quit college to study filmmaking by working as an assistant director. However, when I told my family and friends about this decision, they were aghast. My parents freaked out at my plans to quit college and even my friends, who I expected to be understanding, told me to atleast complete my graduation before taking such a step. However, I followed my heart and I am happy about the fact that I have lived life on my own terms.'' Aamir will be next seen in Rajkumar Hirani's PK, in which he will reportedly essay the role of an alien.
