Kajol Says 'DDLJ' Sequel Is A Great Idea

Kajol, who had played Simran in the blockbuster Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, recently said that making a sequel to the film would be a great idea.
In an interview with a leading daily, Kajol got nostalgic about DDLJ, as it is popularly known and said that though it should never be remade, a sequel to the movie is a great idea. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, which was Aditya Chopra's directorial debut, celebrated its 1000th week at the Maratha Mandir in Mumbai on Friday, which is by far the longest theatrical run for an Indian movie.
Apart from Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, 'DDLJ' also starred Anupam Kher, Farida Jalal, Amrish Puri, Satish Shah and others.
