NBA makes major changes to All-Star game voting
  • 7 years ago
The NBA is making major changes to the way players are voted to the All-Star team. Starting this year, the vote will be 50 percent fan vote, 25 percent player vote, and 25 percent basketball media vote. Prior to this year, voting for the All-Star games was a fan vote only, occasionally leaving some deserving players out of the game. The voting will continue to only be for the five starting positions on each conference team, with the head coach of each respective team picking the seven bench players. Per usual, All-Star game voting begins at 11 a.m. ET on Christmas Day with each fan getting one vote per day from the approved platforms.
