Terror attack in Jordan leaves 10 dead

Ten people were killed and 34 were wounded Sunday in a terror attack in the popular and tourist heavy city of Karak, Jordan. Gunmen opened fire at police at two different locations before making their way to castle full of tourists, according to Jordan's Public Service Directorate. Jordanian forces surrounded the castle in a standoff with the gunmen, which ended around 11:30 p.m. local time. Police killed four of the terrorists holding civilians hostage in the castle. Seven members of security forces, two Jordanian civilians and a Canadian tourist were killed in the attack.
