Adrian Peterson has been cleared to play this Sunday against the Colts
  • 7 years ago
The Minnesota Vikings All-Pro running back Adrian Peterson is eligible to play this Sunday against the Colts after missing almost three months with a knee injury. The former MVP suffered a torn meniscus against the Green Bay Packers in Week 2, an injury with a recovery time of around four months. Peterson returns just as the race for the playoffs is beginning to heat up. His return will boost the leagues worst rushing offense, with the Vikings averaging fewer than 75 yards per game. Without Peterson, the Vikings went 5-6, putting them at 7-6 overall and tied with the Packers for second in their division.
