Firefighter dad surprises children in present after returning home in time for Christmas

Heartwarming footage has emerged from the US of a firefighter dad surprising his children in a present after he returned home from a detail in a different state in time for Christmas.
The video, filmed on December 10 in Iowa, shows the man jumping out of a large, wrapped-up box and surprising his kids.
His partner explained why it was such an emotional occasion online, writing: "My children were so worried that their daddy wouldn't be home for Christmas this year.
"At the end of November he headed out with a three-man engine crew from Iowa (the only three people from our state to go) to help with the fire's in the south (Gatlinburg, Tennessee).
"While this detail was about seven days shorter than his normal details, the kids didn't know and I kept it a secret," she continued.
"I drove for three hours in a blizzard, (tons of accidents along the way) to bring him home, I put him in a BOX and let them think I went shopping that morning.
"This was their 'early Christmas gift' - their smiles and faces were so genuine, it's truly Heartwarming!
"So many families didn't get the chance to reunite over there that breaks my heart and we are just lucky to have had him home safe."
