After much speculations about what film will Aamir Khan sign after PK, it has now come to light that Bollywood's Mr. Perfectionist might play former wrestler Mahavir Phogat in a film based on the life of the wrestler in his next film, tentatively titled Kushti.

A source said that Phogat's daughters Geeta and Babita, who are wrestlers themselves, had once appeared on his chat show Satyamev Jayate and when Aamir got to know about the struggles undergone by their father Mahavir, it got him interested in a film based on his life. The source added that for the film, Aamir will be undergoing a lot of training to play a wrestler who trains his daughters to take up the sport.

Mahavir Singh Phogat, who had trained three Commonwealth Games gold medalists, was in the news sometime back for being ignored for the Dronacharya Award for the third consecutive year.
