Trump to tech executives: 'I'm here to help you do well'

President-elect Donald Trump met with 13 Silicon Valley executives to talk about fairer trade deals and innovation. The 90-minute-meeting at Trump Tower was the first time Trump met with the nation's top leaders, many of whom criticized Trump throughout the election. “I’m here to help you folks do well,” Trump said to the tech executives. Following the meeting, Apple's Tim Cook and Tesla's Elon Musk continued their private conversation with Trump. It was announced later that evening that Musk and Uber's Travis Kalanick are to join Trump's advisory team.
