Cold temperatures create beautiful 'sun dogs' phenomenon

A beautiful video has emerged showing sun dogs in the sky above Winnipeg, MB, Canada on Wednesday afternoon.

The filmer explained that the phenomenon is caused by cold temperatures and ice crystals present in the air which make the patches of light appear on each side of the sun.
