Choreographer Geeta Kapoor Arrested In Car Accident Case

Choreographer and judge of reality show 'Dance India Dance' Geeta Kapoor, who was arrested on Thursday by officials from the Versova police station on charges of rash driving, is now out on bail, claim sources.
As per police sources, Geeta had allegedly rammed her white Honda Accord into a pedestrian on JP Road in Versova at around 5 am on Thursday morning outside a medical store, when the victim, Nisar Mohammed was exiting the shop. Following the accident, the choreographer immediately rushed the victim to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Andheri, according to reports. Mohammed, who works as a driver and repairman suffered a fracture in his right leg.
The police have confirmed that Geeta was not driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
