A lot has been spoken about Akshay Kumar's upcoming film Airlift directed by Raja Krishna Menon. Set in the turbulent Middle East, the film revolves around the world's largest civilian evacuation. Akshay plays an NRI businessman who ends up facilitating this mass movement from Kuwait to India which saw 1,70,000 Indians moving from one country to another. The Lunchbox actress Nimrat Kaur plays his wife in the film.
The makers have now released a snapshot of the film and it definitely has our attention. Akshay Kumar is seen in a dishevelled avatar surrounded by scrap and a broken down car. One thing is for sure, this film promises action, drama and a lot of thrills! Airlift is set for a 2016 Republic Day release.
