Palestinians Rally for Close of Campaign Against Gender-Based Violence

The Palestinian Amal coalition to combat violence against woman, organized a gathering at the Rashad AL-Shawwa culture center Monday in western Gaza city against gender based violence. The event was organized in cooperation with the Palestine culture and free thought, and marked the end of the 16 days of global actions against gender-based violence. Nearly a quarter of women who have been married in Palestine report that they had been exposed to physical abuse, as well as psychological and sexual violence.
