Looks like Ranbir Kapoor is used to all his films getting delayed. The dates for Bombay Velvet, Jagga Jasoos and now Ayan Mukerji's next, all have been pushed by a few months in recent times. It was recently reported that Ranbir and Ayan will be doing a super-hero themed project together and this film will be the third collaboration between Ranbir and his close friend Ayan; in the past they have done Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani together. The decision to push the movie to early 2016 was taken to avoid crowding of films.

Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet will be releasing soon, after that Ranbir still has to complete parts of Jagga Jasoos and Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha before turning his attention to the next project. Ayan himself also wanted to push the film as he wants to focus on mentor Karan Johar film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Seems like the two childhood friends have temporarily parted ways to finish professional commitments before getting back together for their film.
