Fans of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who were eagerly waiting for updates on her comeback film ‘Jazbaa’ can now finally whoop in joy. Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta, who is known for making slick thrillers, will helm Aishwarya’s upcoming film ‘Jazbaa’ and the director unveiled its first look on his Twitter page.


The first look poster features a disheveled Aishwarya on her knees on a dusty, urban street as she gazes into the distance with an expression of pained anguish on her face. The first look of the film has a greenish tint, which reminded us of Gupta’s another film ‘Kaante’. For those who do not know this, ‘Jazbaa’ is based on a Korean flick titled ‘Seven Days’.


The film will have Aishwarya playing a lawyer, who has to save a death row convict from the gallows in order to get her kidnapped daughter back. Apart from Ash, the film also stars Irrfan Khan, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Shabana Azmi, Anupam Kher and others. The film is slated to release on October 9 this year.
