It seems that Salman Khan is using every trick in the book to avoid his alleged ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif. Rumour has it that Khan recently turned down a Rs. 7 crore ad deal opposite the British beauty.
We hear that while Kat was quite eager to share screen space with Khan again, Sallu wasn’t too thrilled with the idea and hence turned it down. While they have been cordial thus far, it seems that Salman is going out of his way to make sure that they don’t work together again. Grapevine suggests that Kaif was the original choice for the Dabangg dude’s upcoming film Bajrangi Bhaijaan but later Kareena Kapoor replaced her. In fact, we hear that even Sultan was supposed to star the Brit beauty but somehow things didn’t work out.
Last year during Arpita Khan’s wedding reception, Salman took potshots at Kat, who is presently dating Ranbir Kapoor, saying that she could have been Katrina Khan but she chose to become Katrina Kapoor.
In the past during a media interaction, Salman had stated that Kat was once his friend but now she is someone else’s friend. He said that he respects that and therefore stays away from her as he doesn't want anyone to say that ‘Oh she is still in touch with Salman’. Khan stated that he stays away from the Kamli girl as he doesn't want her past to intrude her present.
