Nearly 90% of Samsung Galaxy Note 7s have been returned

Samsung Electronics redeemed 90 percent of Galaxy Note 7s phones sold to more than 3 million people around the world in August. As of Sunday, the company said that 90 percent of customers in North America and Europe have already returned their phones. Samsung activated a software update in October that prevents the phone from charging beyond 60 percent so they don't catch fire. However, there are still users who refuse to give up their phones despite the safety risk. The company plans to further limit charging up to 30 percent or make battery charging dysfunctional to force customers to return their phones.
