Security Beefed Up Outside Karan Johar’s Office Following MNS Threat

A day after MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) issued a threat saying that they would assault filmmakers who choose to work with Pakistani actors, police security was beefed up outside Karan Johar’s office in Andheri West.
As Karan has directed Fawad Khan in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, it is obvious that he faces a threat from the MNS and hence, the local police was deployed outside his office to tighten up security. MNS had issued this threat in the aftermath of the attack by Pakistani militants on the Indian Army base in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir and had asked all Pakistani actors to leave India within 48 hours. On a recent chat show, Karan had also said that banning Pakistani actors is not the solution to the issue of cross-border tension.
