In Nishikant Kamat’s ‘Force’ starring John Abraham and Genelia D’Souza, ACP Yash (John) had battled a drug gang. However, in the sequel ‘Force 2’, which has been directed by Abhinay Deo, the stakes are definitely higher.

The trailer of the film was unveiled today and from what we have seen, ‘Force 2’ seems bigger and better than the prequel. This time around, a mysterious antagonist (Tahir Raj Bhasin) is killing RAW’s undercover agents and it is up to Yash and RAW agent KK (Sonakshi Sinha) to team up and neutralize this deadly threat. The trailer is slick, fast and full of awesome action sequences and chase scenes. Though the trailer warmed the cockles of our hearts, we do have a few complaints…


John seems to have waked out of the sets of ‘Rocky Handsome’ and ‘Dishoom’ for ‘Force 2’ and his stoic dialogue delivery and surly glare is way too repetitive. Tahir Raj Bhasin, who was seen taunting the protagonist on an untraceable phone in ‘Mardaani’, seems to be doing the same thing in this film too as he is seen trading threats with John’s character on the phone. Sonakshi Sinha plays a tough secret agent in the film and we are curious about what she will bring to the table after ‘Akira’. All said and done, we are indeed looking forward to ‘Force 2’.

‘Force 2’ is slated to release on November 18 this year.
