A young girl finds a respite from the harsh realities of her life in the magic and beauty of Coney Island when she finds some lost money at the entrance to an alleyway. She takes that money and indulges in making her fantasy of being just like everyone else a temporary reality. When the money runs out the magic and beauty of Coney Island goes on but she's forced to just watch as she delays the inevitable.
