Effects of Vaporizers and E-cigarettes on Teens

A study published in Pediatrics questions the use of e-cigarettes by teenagers. Flavors such as candy crush, bubble gum, and gummy bear led teens to see tobacco smoking as less dangerous even though e-cigarettes do not contain any tobacco. Some say the flavors help adults who are trying to quit smoking cigarettes. E-cigarettes heat a liquid called e-juice, which is made up of propylene glycol, glycerin, nicotine, and flavors, until it vaporizes. People who use this method of smoking prefer to call themselves ‘vapers’ and the vaporized liquid is supposed to be much healthier than cigarettes.Drugs, drug, addiction, substance dependence (disease or medical condition), habit, abuse, HealthFeed
