Four new official element names added to periodic table

The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry Joint Working Party has announced the official names for four chemical elements. Formerly known as 113, 115, 117 and 118, now each of these four elements has a unique name of its own. Element 113 is now Nihonium, 115 is Moscovium, 117 is Tennessine, and 118 is Oganesson. The elements complete the seventh row of the periodic table of elements. The scientists behind the discovery of these elements, who come from Japan, US and Russia, proposed the names and symbols.
