Details continue to emerge from the Louisiana police investigation into the shooting death of former New York Jets' running back Joe McKnight. Jefferson Parish Sheriff Newell Normand said Friday that suspect, Ronald Gasser, didn't stand over McKnight's body. He also said the latter didn't apologize to Gasser, disputing an eyewitness account. Gasser was released from police custody with charges yet to be filed. McKnight was drafted in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft and played three seasons for the team.
