Michigan's Secretary of State Office announced on Thursday that it has received an objection letter from Donald Trump's team against the recount petition filed by Jill Stein.

Green Party's Jill Stein recently filed for recounts in the swing states of Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
Michigan's Secretary of State Office announced on Thursday that it has received an objection letter from Donald Trump's team.
The press release notes, "The Michigan Bureau of Elections today received an objection from representatives of Donald J. Trump regarding the presidential election recount that was filed yesterday by Green Party nominee Jill Stein. "
It further states, "Under Michigan law, the recount is halted when the Board of State Canvassers resolves the objection. The board, which by law must resolve the complaint within five days, is scheduled to consider resolution of the objection...[on] Dec. 2. If the objection is not adopted by the board, the recount can commence after the second business day following the board’s decision. If the board adopts the objection, the recount would be ended. "
Stein has raised over $6.5 million for her recount effort and on her website, notes, "Election integrity experts have independently identified Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin as states where 'statistical anomalies' raised concerns."
Citing mere theories, Trump's objection letter states, "Stein offered no specificity, examples, or even a clear articulation of her theoretical concerns. Indeed, on the basis of nothing more than speculation, Stein asks that Michigan residents endure  an expensive, time-consuming recount, and the scrutiny and hardship that comes with it."
