Summit Entertainment has released the trailer for “The Shack” a new faith-based film based on the best-selling novel of the same name.

After suffering a family tragedy, Mack Phillips (Sam Worthington) spirals into depression causing him to question his beliefs. He then receives a mysterious letter urging him to an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon wilderness.

He encounters an enigmatic trio of strangers led by a woman named Papa (Octavia Spencer). Through this meeting, Mack finds important truths that will transform his understanding of his tragedy and change his life forever.

Radha Mitchell and Tim McGraw also star in the film which opens March 3rd.
