In response to a Romney-related question, Huckabee referenced the former presidential candidate’s recent dinner with Donald Trump.
He said, “Both Reince Priebus and Donald Trump were having filet. On Mitt Romney’s plate there was a big, big slice of crow.”
The rift between Romney and some of Trump’s supporters goes back several months.
In the midst of the campaign, Romney said Trump was, “playing the American public for suckers.”
