Elizabeth Warren is far from pleased after Donald Trump's pick for Treasury Secretary was revealed.

Donald Trump has named Steven Mnuchin, a former executive at Goldman Sachs, as the Treasury secretary, and Elizabeth Warren is far from pleased, reports Politico.
In a statement, the Massachusetts senator calls Mnuchin the “...Forrest Gump of the financial crisis,” and noted that he "managed to participate in all the worst practices on Wall Street."
She continues, “He spent two decades at Goldman Sachs helping the bank peddle the same kind of mortgage products that blew up the economy and sucked down billions in taxpayer bailout money before he moved on to run a bank that was infamous for aggressively foreclosing on families."
Warren warns that the appointment, “should send shivers down the spine of every American who got hit hard by the financial crisis,” and characterizes it as, “the latest sign that Donald Trump has no intention of draining the swamp and every intention of running Washington to benefit himself and his rich buddies.”
Notably, during his campaign, Trump frequently attacked the financial industry, notes the New York Times.
As part of his opposition message, he ran an ad that featured an image of a Goldman Sachs top executive as an example of those who had “robbed our working class."
