According to insiders, Donald Trump is 'furious' after Kellyanne Conway's comments in a Sunday interview, reports MSNBC.

On Sunday, President-elect Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Kellyanne Conway spoke out against Mitt Romney as a contender for the secretary of state position.
On Monday, Mika Brzezinski of MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’ reported, “Two sources at the top of the Trump transition team confirm to MSNBC that they spoke to the president-elect today, and that Donald Trump was 'furious' at Kellyanne Conway's comments on Sunday suggesting that Trump betrayed his supporters by even considering Mitt Romney for a position in his cabinet.”
Brzezinski continued, “Kellyanne went rogue at Donald Trump's expense at the worst possible time - a source familiar with Trump's thinking said. Trump's top aides said they were ‘baffled’ by Conway's comments and suggested that it feeds into a growing concern inside the campaign that ‘instead of driving Donald Trump's message, she's pushing her own agenda.'”
Brzezinski noted that a high-ranking transition aide for Trump called Conway’s approach, “dangerous.”
In her Sunday CNN interview, Conway said, “...it's just breathtaking in scope and intensity the type of messages I've received from all over the country...the number of people who feel betrayed to think that Governor Romney would get the most prominent Cabinet post after he went so far out of his way to hurt Donald Trump.”
Conway also commented, "I’m all for party unity, but I'm not sure that we have to pay for that with the secretary of state position."
