This is the first ever telecast of a travesty on the tubes. Well, not exactly. It was a good idea, it was just poorly executed (mainly in one half of the show). This is the Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour with Gene Rayburn back at the helm on Match Game, and Match Game panelist Jon "Bowzer" Bauman as new host of Hollywood Squares. (BAD CHOICE IF YOU ASK ME!) While both shows worked the same way as their earlier counterparts, there were some bad changes made to Hollywood Squares: No Secret Square, all multiple choice questions, No Zingers, No Bluffs, NO NOTHING! OH! And you can win by default. bad... Bad... BAD! It was a good try IMHO, but Mark Goodson, you messed up a different perfectly funny game show! Enough chatter from me; watch the show.
