Our Anniversary Struggle On Japan's Hardest Trad Multi-Pitch |...

So, we read a while back about the hardest trad multi-pitch in Japan, a route named Senjitsu-no Ruri, on Mt. Mizugaki, located in the Oku-chichibu Mountains. It's a route first climbed by Japanese climbers Keita Kurakami and Yusuke Sato, and from the pictures the route looked good, so we got in our rental van and made our way there with hopes of checking it out. As usual, we totally underestimated everything, including the “easy approach” route to get up to the top. What followed made for a pretty epic wedding anniversary!
