Mexico-Based Cement Company Offers To Help Build Trump’s Wall

Though Donald Trump hasn’t mentioned his Mexico-US border wall much since the election, a Mexican cement maker is ready to be of assistance, should the need arise.

Throughout his campaign, Donald Trump spoke frequently about building a wall along the US-Mexico border.
Though he hasn’t mentioned the barrier much since the election, a Mexican cement maker is ready to be of assistance, should the need arise.
Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua, or GCC, is offering to help with the construction project.
The CEO of the company told Reuters, “We can't be choosy. We're an important producer in that area and we have to respect our clients on both sides of the border."
GCC is based in Mexico, but also has 3 plants in the US, reports the Hill.
Building the wall as Trump initially described it – concrete, 2,000 miles long, and up to 50-feet tall - would cost between $15 billion and $25 billion.
However, in more recent times, he has suggested fencing material may be utilized in some areas.
