Sky Sports Ford Super Sunday Intro 1992

This is the intro for Ford Super Sunday from 1992. The very first live Premiership match on Sky Sports was between Nottingham Forest and Liverpool at the City Ground. This match ended 1-0 to Nottingham Forest after a last minute goal by Teddy Sherringham. The term "battle of the giants" did not prove very appropriate as the legendary Brian Clough's Nottingham Forest went on to get relegated, while Graeme Souness' Liverpool side could only manage a mid table finish, while Man Utd went on to win their first top flight league title for 26 years, beating out unlikely challengers Norwich City. And of course there was that theme tune we all remember and love. Greatest sports theme tune ever, and it went something like this:
