Facebook builds censorship tool to get into China

Facebook has created a censorship tool to work around the company's ban in China. The new software would allow hide posts on prohibited topics from people in China, according to The New York Times. The tool would prevent the posts from ever surfacing in the News Feed at all. Facebook would partner with a local company that would use the tool to prevent users in China from seeing content that defies the government. Facebook spokeswoman Arielle Aryah wrote in an email to Reuters.
