Donald Trump asks Ben Carson to consider Housing Secretary post

President-elect Donald Trump said he is "seriously considering" Ben Carson for housing secretary in a Twitter post. Carson formerly ran in the presidential race as Trump's Republican opponent and later supported Trump. If selected, Carson would be the first African American member of Trump's cabinet. Trump said Carson is a "a greatly talented person who loves people!" in a tweet on Tuesday afternoon. Carson is "honored that the president-elect insists that he take a cabinet role in his administration," Armstrong Williams, a Carson adviser, told CNN Tuesday.
