Trump supporters make statement against Starbucks by buying more drinks

WASHINGTON — Supporters of Donald Trump are making a statement against Starbucks after a viral video showed a white Trump voter crying discrimination at one of the coffee giant’s stores.

The man in the video began making a scene at a Miami Starbucks after his coffee reportedly took too long. Claiming he was being racially discriminated against, he then called the black employee “trash” and demanded his money back.

In response to the incident, a call to arms was made on Twitter, encouraging Trump supporters to head to their local Starbucks and order a drink in Trump’s name. The point being, baristas would be forced to call out the name when the drink is ready.

It’s not clear whether the supporters are aware that the only one really benefiting from the movement is Starbucks, whose employees are apparently not obligated to write the name on the coffee cup or call it out.
