FEC notifies Trump campaign of over $1.3 million in faulty donations

Donald Trump may be in some hot water with the Federal Election Commission after the group reportedly found his campaign accepted over 1,000 donations that violated some campaign finance laws. According to The Hill, the FEC informed Trump's team that they had accepted about 1,100 problematic donations, totaling about $1.3 million. Some of the donors hadn't properly registered, while others were from donors that exceeded donation limits. Both Bernie Sanders and Barack Obama have received similar notices from the FEC in the past.
