Trump Attacks Hamilton Cast Again, Says Show 'Overrated'

Donald Trump took another aim at the 'Hamilton' cast on Sunday, asking the cast to apologize.

On Sunday, Donald Trump took another aim at the 'Hamilton' staff, tweeting, "The cast and producers of Hamilton, which I hear is highly overrated, should immediately apologize to Mike Pence for their terrible behavior."
Trump's comment follows Saturday tweets in which he claimed Mike Pence was "harassed" at the show and posted, "The Theater must always be a safe and special place. The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!"
The controversy erupted after Mike Pence was booed by some audience members at the Friday showing of the hit Broadway musical and the cast read a statement to vice president-elect at the end which said, in part, "we are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights, sir.  But we truly hope that this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf of all of us.”
Brandon Victor Dixon, who has the role of Aaron Burr in the show, responded to Trump’s first message by tweeting back, “conversation is not harassment sir. And I appreciate [Mike Pence] for stopping to listen.”
Pence has also spoken about the incident. In a "Fox News Sunday" interview, he said his family enjoyed the performance and he reminded his kids "that's what freedom sounds like."
