Amazon Prime Video is hoping to compete with Netflix in the video streaming market when it expands to cover 200 markets worldwide. As of now, Prime Video is only available in the U.S., U.K., Germany, Austria and Japan, with India “coming soon.” The expansion is set to take place in December, TechCrunch and the Wall Street Journal report. Amazon has already rolled out some shows globally, like Britain's version of Top Gear called The Grand Tour. Amazon reportedly paid $250 million alone for The Grand Tour.
